שני אחים, בגילי שלוש ושנה, נכוו ממים רותחים ברמת בית שמש. חובשים של איחוד הצלה הוזעקו לביתם של האחים והעניקו להם טיפול ראשוני. לאחר מכן האחים פונו לבית החולים הדסה עין כרם.

מאיחוד הצלה נמסר כי "צוותי הרפואה של איחוד הצלה העניקו סיוע ראשוני לשני ילדים שנכוו ממים רותחים שנשפכו עליהם בביתם ברמת בית שמש.

דוד לף, ראש סניף איחוד הצלה בבית שמש, שהעניק להם סיוע ראשוני מתאר: "מדובר בילד כבן 3 שנכווה באורח בינוני וילד כבן שנה שנכווה במצב קל. הענקנו להם סיוע ראשוני ולאחר מכן הם פונו לבית החולים כשהם סובלים מכוויות בפלג גופם העליון ובגפיים".

ממד"א נמסר: "בשעה 14:02 התקבל דיווח במוקד 101 של מד"א במרחב ירושלים על שני פעוטות שנכוו ממים רותחים בביתם בבית שמש. חובשים ופראמדיקים של מד"א מעניקים טיפול רפואי ומפנים לבית החולים הדסה עין כרם שני פעוטות – בן 3 ובן שנה וחצי במצב קל-בינוני".
