מחלקת מוקד קליטה עירוני ליוצאי אתיופיה של עיריית בית שמש בשיתוף המטה לשילוב יוצאי אתיופיה של משרד ראש הממשלה, משרד הקליטה והעלייה ומשרד הרישוי, קיימו קורס תיאוריה לעולים חדשים וותיקים בשפה העברית והאמהרית.

כ-42 תלמידים נרשמו לקורס ועברו 14 מפגשים אשר בסופם מי שהיה בשל ניגש להיבחן במבחן התיאוריה.

מנכ״לית העירייה, מירה מינס, בירכה את צוות מוקד הקליטה של עיריית בית שמש, איחלה הצלחה במבחן למשתתפי הקורס והדגישה שהעיקר שיסעו בביטחה.
